Chris Sabin
I’ve been Internet savvy for quite a number of years now, started using it when I was young, and never stopped. My Dad is a computer engineer, so I have had the fortunate opportunity to grow up in a “tech” household. Christmas of ‘82 was a good year. It was a beginning on two different, but related, fronts. Not only did I emerge out of my Mother’s womb that year, but my Dad also acquired the legendary Commodore 64, our very first household computer. For my Dad, it was work, but for my Mom, me, and my brothers, it was the GAMES. Some of my earliest gaming memories are of Congo Bongo (which still holds up to this day), Potty Pigeon, and Forbidden Forest (which gave me nightmares as a young one). This was the first computer I ever used and I loved it. I wish I still had a working Commodore 64 right now. Ah, nostalgia.
Then came the Internet.
Boy, was I in awe the first time I heard the numbers dial and that crackling phone line sound. “What’s on the Internet, Dad?” “Anything that people choose.” Anything that people choose. Back then, I didn’t realize how significant that really was. A place where people could share any information they choose. Information (or maybe it’s a lack of information?), that is one of the most powerful elements of this world. Anyone with access to the Internet could share anything they wanted. Today, you can film your kitty doing backflips chasing a red laser dot, put it on the Internet, and it’s there for the world to see–that easy. Continue reading »
The Ultimate X structure is being brought out to hype the Ultimate X match at the Generation X pay per view.
The Motor City Machine Guns come out. Chris Sabin takes a mic and says that Destination X will be a night to remember. Not only is it the return of Ultimate X with the winner becoming the Number One Contenders to the TNA World Tag Titles, but it will be the start to the Motor City Era. Sabin calls out Generation Me for coming into their turf and asks who they have beaten. Generation Me comes out and reminds Sabin that they beat the Machine Guns in their debut. Shelley says it was just luck and then says that Motor City is the Xbox while Generation Me are Ataris. He also says that they are the Ferraris to Generation Me’s station wagons. He says that they can keep talking about this or the time where the Guns got with Generation Me’s girlfriends. This leads to a brawl with all four men getting involved. Brian Kendrick comes out to save the Guns. Amazing Red comes out to take out Kendrick. Daniels comes out to take care of Red. Kazarian comes out with a ladder and hits Daniels with it. Generation Me do dives off the Ultimate X towers onto the guns. They set up the ladder and Red dives off the ladder onto Kendrick, Daniels, and the Guns on the outside. Red, Kazarian, and Generation Me pose together in the ring. (This was described as a crazy segment).
Beer Money defeated Matt Morgan and Hernandez, and The Motor City Machine Guns, and Generation Me in a four-way tag match in 3:10. Morgan slipped past Hernandez during their entrance. Hernandez just shook his head. At 2:55, Morgan grabbed both G-Me wrestlers by the throat and chokeslammed them. He boasted to his partner. Morgan turned around and was superkicked by Storm, and then Roode rolled him up for the win.
Roderick Strong beat Chris Sabin with a series of backbreakers and a stiff kick. A really stiff match with some big hits. Strong’s signature chops left Sabin’s chest looking like raw meat.

If anyone knows where I can get more detailed results please let me know in the comments, thanks.
Jakks will be releasing a “Cross the Line” Motor City Machine Guns action figure set in October 2010.
TNA posted on their site that they are releasing a combination MCMG/Beer Money DVD. Kind of weird. Anyway, you can vote on which matches you want on it at this link.
Eric Bischoff took questions from fans & Facebook & mentioned the Guns:
Q:Thanks for coming back, I hope to see you guys push the x-division.
Eric Bischoff: You won’t be disappointed! I’ve loved that style of wrestling for a long time (cruiser weights).
Q: Eric, recently in an interview I read, you said one of your goals in TNA is to push and showcase younger talent. In the last few years, The Motor City Machine Guns have been completely underutilized and thrown on the backburner for months at a time. What do you think of the MCMGs and are they going to get a chance to step up to that next level and compete for the TNA tag titles?
